How we work
The Youth Club is open five days a week for ages 7 to 25 years (we accept younger children by agreement) on:
MORNINGSIDE: Tuesdays, Thursday and Fridays between 6.00 and 9.00 p.m.
GASCOYNE: Mondays and Wednesday between 6.00 and 9.00 p.m.
We are open during all school holidays between 2.00 and 7.00 p.m. (except Wednesday when we have an off-site activity and times vary).
We run a variety of structured sessions including: Music workshops, cooking classes, wellbeing and mentoring sessions, youth volunteering programme, education support and homework clubs. We also run an award-winning youth social enterprise “Morningside Bath and Beauty” which has won National Awards and operates in markets across Hackney and the wider community.
In addition to structured sessions we have pool, table, tennis, table football, arts and crafts, sports/group game sessions and other activities operating on a daily basis.
The majority of our sessions are open access and are open to all young people.
